We have designed dozens of custom fonts based on our "MetFonts" over the years. Sometimes a user needs a couple of extra characters, and sometimes the user simply wants the simplicity of having the Metcharacters available in his or her favorite font. We generally charge a flat fee of $75 to create a Metfont; we consider this a programming service--combining two fonts the customer already owns into a package, so the customer must own the Metronome/MetTimes package, and must provide a copy of the fonts to be used for the "base" font. Extra characters are charged at cost.
