Here they are: fully functional demos of the Metronome/MetTimes font package and Kidnotes, plus our free DVMarticulations font. The Mac versions are all in stuffit archives, the Windows versions are all zipped.

MetDemo is a subset of our Metronome/MetTimes font package. It is a fully functional truetype font with about 25% of the characters in the full package. The included character set allows users to input metronome markings, piano pedal markings and a limited number of chords and figured bass markings

The KidDemo font is a subset of our Kidnotes font package. While the font includes about 50% of the characters of the full package, it is a more typical "demo," in that it really just demonstrates the full package--since it doesn't include all of the noteheads necessary to do finished pieces of music. If you're interested in the Kidnotes font and want to see it in action, however, KidDemo is the best way possible.

DVMarticulations solves a consistent problem with the articulations in music fonts: how to center them properly. Most font characters have the origin point (the "handle" that users have to drag to move them) in the lower left hand corner. If the user wants to center the marking on a notehead, a numeric offset has to be used to move the center of the character over/under the notehead. DVMarticulations has the origin point directly in the center of the character, so that when the character is "centered" over a notehead, it really is centered. In addition, there are some uncommon characters included (glissandi with up-arrows and down-arrows, "Mozart" carets, "long" [square] fermatas) and the tenuto and accents are thicker than most other articulation fonts. The "regular" fermata is also somewhat smaller and rounder than most other music fonts' fermatas.
