With the release of Sibelius 3 and Sibelius 4, users of Sibelius now have their own version of Kidnotes. For technical reasons we had to give it a different name and remove the roman characters, but all of the basic functionality is the same as the version for Finale. KidSib will allow you to print notes in Sibelius with letter names embedded in the noteheads, or to print notes with the solfege letters embedded in the music. |

Kidsib works via a plug-in in both Sibelius 3 and Sibelius 4, so all you have to do is select the music you want to transform to letter-embedded notes and Sibelius will do the work for you. Click here to link to the Sibelius plug-in page. The "apply KidSib" plug-in is in the "Notes & Rests" folder. Note that each version of Sibelius uses a different plug-in, so be sure to get the one for your version of the program. |
